Lennart and Nanouk
We are shepherds since 2013. We are both passionate about sheep, herding and working with the rhythm of nature. We herded sheep for other shepherds for 7 years. Now we decided to get our own flock.
Right now we have 170 ewes, 7 goats and 1 cow!
So we have a little Flock but our goal will be to have 300 ewes plus cows and goats all in one big Friendly Flock !
Nous sommes bergers depuis 2013. Nous sommes tous les deux passionnés par les brebis, les troupeaux et le travail au rythme de la nature. Nous avons gardé des brebis pour d’autres bergers pendant 7 ans. Maintenant nous avons décidé d’avoir notre propre troupeau.
Actuellement, nous avons 170 brebis, 7 chèvres et 1 vache !
Nous avons donc un petit troupeau mais notre objectif sera d’avoir 300 brebis plus les vaches et les chèvres dans un grand troupeau amical (Friendly Flock) !
Nanouk
Nanouk is passionate about livestock handling and the work with the dogs.
She thrives to improve the natural working abilities of the Kelpie. Nanouk makes sure that the work is calm and the animals without any stress. Nanouk studied Low Stress Stock Handling under David Hart and is breeding her own dogs.
Nanouk est passionnée par la gestion du troupeau et le travail avec les chiens.
Elle se passionne pour développer les capacités naturelles de travail du Kelpie. Nanouk veille à ce que le travail soit calme et les animaux sans aucun stress. Nanouk a étudié le Low Stress Stock Handling avec David Hart et élève ses propres chiens.
Lennart
Lennart is all about land management and soil health. He is eager to improve the health of the ecosystem with the help of the flock. He studied holistic management with the 3LM savory hub and plant health with John Kempf.
Besides the work he is doing with Friendly Flock he works in an startup and is responsible for the interpretation of Sap and soil Haney analysis.
Lennart s’intéresse à la gestion des sols et à leur santé. Il est enthousiaste à l’idée d’améliorer la santé de l’écosystème avec l’aide du troupeau. Il a étudié la gestion holistique avec le 3LM Savory Hub et la santé des plantes avec John Kempf.
En plus du travail qu’il fait avec Friendly Flock, il travaille dans une startup et est responsable de l’interprétation de l’analyse de la sève et du Haney test.
