Friendly Flock

So,it is almost over now. The sheep are back at the farm, all together. The dogs, except Loup, are glad to work such a big flock. It is the first time for Riff & Belle, and they are doing very well. Riff brings more push and I start to like his work much more. He is also a very very fast learner and wants to please.

La saison s achève, les brebis sont de retour à la ferme en attendant le départ. Les chiens, sauf Loup sont heureux de travailler un si gros troupeau. C’est la première fois pour Riff & Belle, ils se débrouillent très bien. Riff amène plus de mouvement, je commence a apprécier son travail. Il apprend très très vite et veut faire plaisir.

A video of Belle & Ness training on a small group. Not an easy job. The sheep want to go back with the others and the weather is very hot, so they dont move.

Belle s’entraîne sur un petit lot que j’ai sorti du parc. Ness ne peut pas s empêcher de donner un coup de main. Ce n’est pas facile car les brebis sont très grégaires et ne pensent qu’à retourner vers les autres. En plus il fait déjà très chaud.

A video of Riff and Ness moving the 800 sheep on the street. We transhumed 7 kms. It is Riff first time and he is doing well. First controlling the rear and later working the sides.

Riff & Ness déplacent mon troupeau sur la route. C’est aussi la première fois que Riff fait ce travail, il s’en sort bien. Il pousse a l arrière et fait les côtés aussi.
